Kelly Kennedy started writing children's picture books during lockdown, whilst residing with a variety of rescue dogs. All with their own unique history and challenges, yet all of which were full of love. Having worked therapeutically with many vulnerable and disadvantaged children for decades prior, Kelly soon noticed some distinctive similarities in their character traits and ways of coping. Kelly's first book 'Dylan the Anxious Dog' gives an insight into how Dylan copes with his anxiety. Simple tricks that children, from a young age, can use to help them with some everyday struggles. Kelly's books are dedicated to creating enchanting children's stories that promote acceptance, inclusion, boost self-esteem, and increase confidence. Every story is crafted with love and creativity to empower young readers to embrace their uniqueness and spread kindness.
